Practice and Philosophy
Practice Description
Foot Reflexology and Deep Relaxation Massage. Pool
therapy for pain relief of chronic back, hip, shoulder, knee
ailments. Mr. Mulcahy is skilled in many forms of massage
therapy, including Swedish/American, sports, and pressure
points. With his many years of experience in medical assistance
and physical therapy,
he is uniquely skilled in working with other health professionals
to design a massage regimen based on client history and personal
needs. He uses only natural creams and essential oils.
Philosophy
I have experienced first-hand the miracle of rehabilitative
healing. Following a serious injury thirty years ago, I was
paralyzed for over two years. Instead of more surgery, I opted
for intensive 24-hour, 7-days-a-week, peer-supported therapy.
Not only did I regain mobility and give up pain medications,
I got my life back! What a joy it is to now offer my skills
to clients! I don’t offer a miracle
cure, but an opportunity for you to be actively involved in
your own healing. With a mind-body-spirit approach, my treatment
becomes most effective when clients’ active involvement
allows “permission” for the body to receive it.
