Practice and Philosophy

Practice Description
I have been an RN for 30 years, practicing mostly in the field
of critical care and cardiac rehabilitation. I have always believed
there is a mind-body-spirit connection, and that our health is directly
connected to our thoughts and beliefs. I learned EFT (Emotional
Freedom Techniques) in 2001 and have found it to be the most
effective technique I have learned in my 30 years as a nurse. I
began to incorporate it into my work with patients. In 2004, I began
teaching it in the community and to other health care providers and
staff at the hospital where I work. EFT is a gentle meridian based
energy therapy that is clinically effective for trauma and abuse,
panic and anxiety, fears and phobias, depression, addictive cravings,
and hundreds of physical symptoms including pain, headaches, nausea,
and breathing problems. I offer individual sessions in person or by phone,
as well as workshops to teach the techniques to groups and individuals.
CEU’s for nurses are available at some locations.

Philosophy
I believe that EFT is one of a number of energy based therapies that can
help us realize our true potential. As we are able to let go of past hurts and
traumas, we experience profound healing on physical, emotional and spiritual
levels. This enables us to know and be all that we are capable of being.
EFT not only helps with past and current traumas, but also helps us break
down limiting beliefs to achieve our goals. And it does it quickly and painlessly.
I love seeing the look of amazement on clients’ faces when their problems are
resolved. I believe everyone should learn this technique.
