Practice and Philosophy
Practice Description
Conducting group and individual sessions for seniors,
children and families, people with developmental disabilities,
groups for people in recovery from drugs and alcohol, incarcerated
women and their children, and individuals interested in their
healing journeys.
Additional work includes: Parent-child creative
dance classes; dance improvisation workshops; creative arts
therapy training program for individuals working in therapeutic
settings with children, entitled,"Finding the Magic in
Movement".
Philosophy
Since ancient times, movement and dance have been used to
promote group cohesion, personal healing and connection with
the sacred. Experiencing the ever-changing flow of movement
from within deepens the connection to ourselves and each other
and teaches us how to move more fully in the
world. Through movement we find health.
