Practice and Philosophy
Practice Description
I help people who are stressed or overwhelmed to build
on their natural resilience for healing. In addition to massage
therapy, I use a somatic (body/mind) approach.
Philosophy
As a new client, you may come in the door looking for symptom
relief and improved physical function. Or, you may enter the
doorway created by physical symptoms, seeking greater connection
with self, with others, and with the present moment. Whatever
the starting point, my goal is to facilitate your body's own
healing response. Because healing often happens best in the
context of relationship, my practice establishes a safe container
in which clients may explore and create. Bodywork is only
one facet of the jewel of health care, and I enjoy teaming
with other care professionals.
